C-21 Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) Grant, Part B and Part B (Preschool)
Issue/Rationale
IDEA funds ensure that necessary services to students with disabilities are provided, thus meeting the IDEA mandate of a free, appropriate public education for these students. These dollars fund, fully or partially, ESE personnel, classroom supplies, professional development for staff, expert consultants for program development and compliance, and required services for parentally placed private school students.
Recommended Action
Approve IDEA grant as submitted.
